Meet Our Captains
Our team of locally trained professional guides are here to provide you with an unforgettable experience that can be customized to your needs. We have multiple vessels and our keen captains will keep you safe and comfortable all while catching fish.
Tristan
Tristan is a born and raised local from South Vancouver Island. Between fishing, open ocean sailing, competitive sailboat racing and free diving, Tristan is at home on the ocean. Whether he is targeting sought-after Halibut in the spring, participating in the world-class local Salmon fishery, hunting big game in the fall or chasing elusive Steelhead in the winter, Tristan is a true west coast outdoorsman.
A well-known and respected member of both the local fishing scene and community, he is always happy to share his knowledge of fishing, wildlife and local history. He loves cooking seafood as much as he loves harvesting it, so no matter what you come home with, he will know how to prepare and cook it. Ask him about a tasty meal idea!
Let us know what you'd like to experience and our team can customize your trip. Whether it is a romantic night cruise, sight seeing, whale watching, or fishing for trarget species such as Coho, Halibut, Chinook or whether you are chasing that Tyee we can deliver.
Cam
Captain Cam has been fishing for years, not just on the ocean but lakes, rivers and streams as well. Cam is a resident of the island and has made the water part of his life. He knows how to handle a vessel extremely well,
keeping you safe and enjoying your day. Cam is in his element on the water with all sorts of vessel experience including large vessels, sport vessels like our charter boats, sailboats, and kayaks. He has proved himself handy in all aspects marine.
If the fishing is ever slow (not too often), Cam has a few tricks up his sleeve and has a creative and unique ability of enticing those fish that will most times bring you back to the dock full of pride and smiles. It is always an adventure to remember with Captain Cam so prepare yourself for a day of experience and building memories. Ask about Cam’s available deckhands ie. (kids), avid fishers, and guides in training to help keep the gear in the water, bait on the hooks, the boat in the track or even enjoying a prepared for you onboard taste of your catch. Hope to see you on the water!
